Search on iPOTT is an ‘experience’ to feel the freedom. Some tips on how to get quick results from search.
Softwares displayed or listed on iPOTT are under 4 types. The types help easy identification of softwares.
Industry-wise listing : This type displays softwares belonging to particular of industry. Eg: Softwares for Hotels, for Insurance companies etc. So if your ‘search’ is for specific industry related software then ‘search’ under this section.
Functionality-wise listing : This types displays general softwares, these softwares can be applicable or deployed in any industry.The typeing is done based on the Functions Eg: Accounting Softwares, Enterprise Resource Planning, CRM etc. If your ‘search’ is for any general purpose softwares then ‘search’ under this section.
Process-wise listing : This type displays small softwares which can be used for a single process. Eg: Credit Management, Software for Billing Process. So if your ‘search’ if for a software to meet a individual process requirement, then ‘search’ under this option.
Tools : This type displays tools, which can be a part of your softwares, or which can be a add on to your existing softwares. Eg: Messenger tool, Collaboration Tool.
Once you are aware as to what software you are ‘searching’ you can continue to ‘search’ using two options:
Option 1 : Under the search software option select the type and select a sub category and submit ‘go’. The requested type and category of software will get listed. This search is available on most of the pages of iPOTT. So you can begin your search from any page.
Option 2 : In the home page we have the 4 types of software is displayed. Select the required type to display the subcategories. Scroll on to the software of your requirement click on read more to get the display of softwares.
